Holiday weekend, New surf bar
Because of the holiday weekend, it may take a little longer to approve sites and purchases. All should be done within 6 to 12 hours.
A new surfbar is in the works. Basically, the same, but the banner loading will change.
Now, the banner refreshes every 15 seconds in an iframe. If someone leaves the surfbar open without surfing, this may waste a few banner impressions.
Because of the iframe, if the banner site goes down for a split second, then
you won't see any more banners until you restart the surf bar.
The new surfbar will only load a new banner when a new page loads.
Also, everything will be in a table so the surfbar will not be truncated.
The new surfbar is designed to benefit everyone.
The new surfbar will also have a more efficient hidden anticheat script.
Yes, we do find cheaters and delete them. It is so easy to earn credits, that cheaters are not as big of a problem here as they are on some other sites. The cheating that goes on elsewhere on some of the more bigger exchanges is quite a problem.
There are 2 main ways to avoid cheaters: Don't buy credits back and make it easy to surf.
