Admin Vacation

The admin will be on vacation from June 26th to July 1oth.
Don't worry, things will still be checked and the sites will
be maintained. Credits purchases and
upgrades will also still go through. The only thing different, is that
it may take a few hours longer. Sorry for any delays that may
inconvenience you. The email will also be checked, just not as often
as normal. Nothing should take more than 12 hours.

Increased Basic Surfing Ratio

Until the 4th of July, maybe longer, if you choose
the manual surf option, the ratio is now
view 1 site, get 0.9 credits.
This means for every 10 sites viewed, you get 9 credits.
This is one of the best ratios for basic members.
If you have the surfing link bookmarked, do not use that one.
It is a new surfing url. Login and use the manual surf link on the user menu.
This is a great ratio, so I encourage you to take advantgage of it while it lasts!
Why did we do this? Basic members are actually the backbone of all exchanges.
They need to surf the most. Give them an incentive to surf your sites!
Why didn't we increase the other levels as well? Because they are high already!
As a trade off, we might decrease the basic ratio for autosurf.

Don't pay for ad pages!

Paying for ad pages is a waste of money. You do not get your money's worth.
Webspace and hosting is soooooooo cheap, you can get it for the same as those paid
pages. And, you can have oodles of them-not just one. And do anything you like with it!
BUT, if one page is all you need, here is a great new service:
http://All4Webs.com/?t=stc60
It lets you create a web page of your choice for free!
Many templates are included. Plus, you can upgrade if you need more pages.
Since this is free, and if you really need to have your own page, give this one a
try before you pay money.

Paid to surf???

I can never understand how you can get paid to autosurf. Money for nothing and money from nothing. The math just does not add up. If you have been "paid" for autosurfing, that's fine. I have no reason to doubt you. But how long can it last? Did you surf to a grand on grand clicks?
Surftiger will never be any form of paid to surf. The economics (and logic) is just not there.

Unique Opt-in Traffic Exchange List

Exclusively for Surftiger members. Here are the details:
Each week there will be a newsletter going out to all members
who have signed up.
Each member will have a chance to have a favorite traffic tip,
and the url of their choice included in the newsletter.
Between 10 and 20 will be randomly picked, depending on how
many subscribers and submissions there are.
This is in sort of a "pre-launch" mode to build up a member list.
================
The benefits of this list are:
-Chance for you to promote your url
-Increase your traffic by reading tips from other members
================
Unlike other opt-in lists that probably get deleted before reading,
each person has an incentive to read for the traffic tips.
Also, in order to have a chance at posting in the next one, you
must give the "secret code word" included in each newsletter.
One simple rule:
You cannot submit more than 1 entry a week.
Any one sending multiple entries will be deleted.
Also, if your post is not chosen, yes you can send it again.
So, what are you waiting for?
Use a valid email, one that is suitable for an email newsletter.
Probably not your main one, but one that you do check frequently.
No, we will not spam you or sell your email.

Mistaken email-then someone sends a nasty email back!

I accidentally sent out an email about a published site. I know at least members #1 to 300 got it, because I received an email from one of those members asking what is was.
Then, I decided to send an email to everyone letting them know not to worry.
Nobody was using their account to put sites on.
Then to my surprise, I get an email from a member (who shall remain nameless)
as follows:
"The email below is a trick for me to open! U R a no good piece of Dog (bleep). I will never use your service again! "
Can anyone please explain the trick? If I ever send out an email is is only for official
Surftiger business that members should know about. And I don't recall selling
anything in the email I sent out.
But I don't need members like him.
